Every Sunday, we gather for our breakfast and Life Groups at 9:30 followed by our worship service at 11 AM. These services are a cornerstone of our community life, providing a space for spiritual growth and connection. Each week, our pastor delivers a message that is both relevant and inspiring, encouraging us to reflect on our faith and apply it to our daily lives.

Family and Youth Events

Easter Event

Every year we host a Community Event on a Saturday around Easter. This event is designed for families to come together for a day of food, fun, and fellowship. And it's all FREE! Watch our Facebook page and this website for dates and information.

Youth Group: Christians in Action

Our youth group meets every Wednesday at 7 PM. This is a vibrant space for teens to explore their faith, make friends, and engage in meaningful discussions. Each meeting includes games, a lesson, and time for prayer. We also plan regular outings to enjoy fellowship and fun.

Bible Study Groups

We offer various Bible study groups throughout the week, catering to different age groups and interests. These groups provide a supportive environment for learning and discussion. Whether you are new to the Bible or have been studying it for years, you will find a group that fits your needs.

• Women’s Morning Bible Study: Mondays at 10 AM

• Women's Evening Bible Study: Every other Tuesday at 6 PM (includes dinner)

Community Outreach

Volunteer Opportunities

At First Baptist Church Ridge Manor, we believe in giving back to our community. We have several outreach programs that allow members to serve those in need. Whether it’s volunteering to make handmade items for cancer patients or helping with the homeless ministry, there are many ways to get involved.

Upcoming Volunteer Events:

• Homeless Ministry: Second & Fourth Fridays starting at 4:30 PM. Our volunteers assist with the Shower & Soup Ministry at Faith Church in Brooksville. We contribute by delivering food, cleaning the showers, and engaging with the homeless community, frequently addressing their other physical needs such as providing a tent, a bicycle, or a food packet. We often pray with them regarding any spiritual or emotional concerns they share.

• WINGS: Women in God's Service meet monthly to create handmade items that are distributed to local organizations in need. If you can cut fabric, iron, sew, or just like to fellowship with women, we need you! We meet monthly on a Saturday morning from 9-12 and often go to a local restaurant for lunch.

  
  

Special Events

Easter Celebration

Easter is a significant time for our church community, and we plan a series of events leading up to this special day. Join us for our Good Friday service at 6 PM, followed by our Easter Sunday worship celebration beginning with breakfast and Life Groups at 9:30, followed by Worship Service at 11 AM

Annual Church Homecoming

Don’t miss our Annual Church Homecoming Celebration. This September event is a beloved tradition where members gather for food, music, and fellowship. Bring your favorite dish to share, and enjoy a day filled with laughter and community spirit.

Random Acts of Kindness

We dedicate a Saturday in spring to perform Random Acts of Kindness in our community. We split into teams, each heading to a different spot: distributing quarters at the laundromat, offering free car washes at an auto parts store, giving out free snow cones at the community park, providing restaurant patrons with a $5 meal discount gift certificate, and handing out free water bottles at the bike trail. Additionally, this year a team collected trash along Ridge Manor Boulevard.

We talked with people about their need for Jesus and prayed with them as needed.
